YouTube is a free website that can be a terrific place for teenagers to find new interests. Many young people use YouTube to view music videos, comedy shows, how-to instructions, recipes, hacks, and other types of content. Teens also use the video-sharing service to subscribe to other YouTubers and celebrities they are interested in, as well as to follow their favorite vloggers (video bloggers). YouTube is the world’s most popular video streaming site. YouTube, like many other websites, is available as both an app and a website, meaning that users may access YouTube via the web and download the YouTube app to their smartphone. According to sources, YouTube recently unveiled a new feature that people have been waiting for.
A new “continue watching” function has been discovered in YouTube for desktop, which should make it easy to pick up where you left off watching a video on another platform, such as your phone or TV. It isn’t available to everyone yet, and YouTube doesn’t identify it as one of its continuing experiments, but it has been spotted in the process of being rolled out. Resume where you left off on your phone on your computer
Users may now continue watching a video on YouTube’s site version after they leave a video on the mobile app, thanks to the ‘Continue Watching’ function. That is, before today, viewers who paused a video on YouTube’s mobile app had to reopen the program to continue watching it. However, people can now view the footage on the internet.
Previously, sharing a video with yourself to a new platform required a convoluted process of sharing a link or manually searching through your YouTube video history to find it, but this new “continue watching” function will make switching from mobile to desktop playback practically quick. The feature was discovered by 9to5Google and displays inside the existing mini player when visiting the YouTube desktop site, loading whatever movie you were watching on another platform a few seconds before you paused. The words “continue watching” show beneath the video’s title in the player. If you want to keep playing the video, the behavior is the same as it is in the normal mineplayer: pick play to keep the movie playing in the mineplayer or select the “expand” button or the video title area to load the video’s listing. Moreover, this update has also made data transfer easy.
Again, the feature might not be available to everyone right now. (Anecdotally, when I pause videos on an Android device associated with the same Google account, it doesn’t appear on the signed-in YouTube site.) According to some sources, the feature works while pausing movies on iOS, Android, and Android TV, but only on YouTube’s site for the “continue watching” side of the process – in other words, the feature doesn’t work “both ways.”

Remember that this feature only works with YouTube’s tiny player. You’ll notice a play button on the little video player, which when clicked will play your video and allow you to move that window wherever on the screen, bringing you to the entire video page.
